One of the biggest highlights of 2018 for me was collaborating with Nia The Light |
This year has been such a significant year. 21 days | This shoot was really symbolic for me as it shows some of the different styles I possess. I think everyday woman should be able to unlock the different aspects of themselves freely without any judgement or fear of what others will think. Let your soul shine. You do not have to be one thing or look one way. The world we live in right now has such emphasis of people being in a group and sticking to that. I’ve realized it makes people feel safe and a part of something. So let’s all focus on building that sense of safe and home within us. |
Being a young woman has been full of so much growth. Most recently I have been discovering my sensual and confident side. I’ve always been very shy and an earthy kind of girl but the more I grow the more I want to discover different aspects of myself. My body is changing and the way I see myself is too. I’ve been single for a long time now and I think it’s such a liberating thing for me to grow through in my life right now because I am gaining an understanding of the kind of love I want to give to myself and the love I want to receive. I am setting my own standard because I am deserving of the love I keep trying to give to everyone else.
I’m in a space where I have an immense amount of gratitude daily for the life I live. Since I was 16 I feel like life just went by and I had all these amazing experiences but because of how jam packed it was, I didn’t get to truly live in the moment. Now that I have my own home, I spend a lot of time alone and I’ve found myself reflecting on my life and all of the things I have achieved.
In the meantime, here are a few more from the last session
I love capturing the natural moments that parents and their children share.
Here are a few from a recent shoot.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Bush Princess.
I love Lotti's styling and visions and of course working with my sister Jasmine as the model made it all the more special.
There's lots more to come so make sure to stay tuned.

Glad that we managed to fit this one in before she left for the UK!

I was delights to see the amount of rain that they're having and could barely recognise the landscape, it has been transformed. The grass has shot up creating a beautiful green carpet dotted with beautiful white flowers.
My friends have been planting and are flurishing.
It still amazes me how easy it is to get so wrapped up in daily life and superficial things. Visiting this village always brings me back to basics. The simple joy and happiness at a little rain is absolutely beautiful.
Count your blessings.
Here I used a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens on a Canon 5d mark iii body, shooting into the setting sun.
Here is a little preview from the special day, many more images on the way...
Only £109 for your family photoshoot this month!
through chicken wire lenses
floats in spaces criss-cross
vexing her body,
as the pixel splattered
frey of her borderless image
stirs shy dust with the pulse
undulating earth into the clover
clouds she palm pockets, above
the valley's tread of herself,
where they peer at her, behind
the stare she has learned not see,
she falls under night, green
glowing larval markings
defend her mapped moist wings
with the dark's parasitic grains,
crests a butterfly in the waves
her wingwind orchestrates
surging in dream
she sees them playing,
begging to invent the infinite
incapacity of her world,
and so, the unconscious stirring
stippling her shadow,
grows
the more
it's light is hidden
Barefoot soul, live
in the art the word
has taught us to forget
-
out of the anaemic silence
of the sun’s warp, daydreaming
in the dark Classroom’s depth
-
a child,
begot and beaten into learning
how to live behind the blood’s
bottled confusion of skin,
-
The endless conflict
of a porous bruise,
leaking into morning’s ritual
of Mamas laying out makaa
-
out of the fire of yesterday,
-
Hens cluck songs from fear
and men hear the struck screams
of themselves, distantly-
-
in the choral playground of today’s
concealed imitation of tomorrow,
games are stone scratched
on the sands of the moon, blind
folded hopscotch frames
in which to resolve
-
But tell me when, when
does one ever grow up?
-
to become perfectly chiral
to the prism jar, glassed
in the existence
of a hemorrhagic past?
The first thing I noticed about Petronella was her enthusiasm, her smile radiated through the room. As we began to shot I was delighted with the ease she had in front of the lens, moving smoothly and naturally from shot to shot.
Below are some of my favourites shots. For more, head to Petronella's Blog www.petronellarisita.com
My dream is to be successful in the Film and Fashion Industry, I have such a deep love for them both and I'm excited for my journey in getting to where I want to be in both of these Industries.
My spirit animal would definitely be a lion. They're fierce, beautiful and pretty freaking awesome.
I'd say that colour inspires me, especially when it comes to fashion because not only does it express my personal style but it also conveys my personality and what colour palettes suit me on different occasions.
Something I want people to know about me...Well I have a serious phobia of public toilets haha!
Stranded on a desert Island with 3 essentials.
First thing is lip balm, I get seriously dry lips and it's always a saver!
Second, a camera. I feel like as a blogger I always have my camera on the go with me so I'd have it to take beautiful pictures of the Island and capture the moment.
Third, if it's an Island then definitely a swimsuit! I used to think I was a mermaid when I was younger because I loved being in the water so much.
It was so amazing to work with Poppy, you're so talented and I am so excited to work with you again.
I absolutely loved photographing baby Otto. Below are a few of my favourites from the session.
The littlest feet make the biggest footprints on our hearts
A baby has a special way of adding joy to every day
