A few weeks ago my good friend and fellow photographer Reece McMillan and I took a trip to Kitengela Hot Glass.
Having grown up on Masai Lodge road, across the gorge from the glass blowing centre, I had been to visit many times but had seen the step-by-step process of how the items are made.
I was fascinated by how quick and efficient the workers were and amazed by the process of a hot blob of glass on the end of a rod, almost magically becoming a beautiful bowl or a wine glass!
